Bailey Motorsports Podium filled weekend.

Mar 30, 2017

Mother Nature did her best to dampen the conditions all weekend but thankfully the threat of rain was only just that, a threat.  The track design and layout was great, riders were challenged with a long uphill start, followed by massive jumps, whoops, a downhill section, more jumps and a long rhythm section to the checkers making it the longest track of the season.  Our Ski Doo race sleds were tuned and ready as were our Yeti snowbikes for our riders to go out and challenge for the top spot on the box.   Full...

After a two-weekend break, the Rockstar Energy Drink CSRA Snowcross Championships clicked back into gear at Chicopee Ski Resort in Kitchener, ON this past weekend. Relatively mild temperatures and wet, granular snow conditions were on tap both days. The condition of the track made it hard to pass on and top starts were essential for a win, with the title contenders basically being stuck in a situation of having to follow the leader.   Full...

Realm Racing visits Chicopee Ski & Summer Resort

Mar 28, 2017

Chicopee Ski & Summer Resort in Kitchener, Ontario was the site for CSRA Rounds 9 and 10. This race is always held the weekend after spring break and usually provides us with some great fair weather riding! Friday afternoon the weather was unseasonably warm with a daytime high around 18°C. It was a great day to get set up and prepare for what would be a wet and rainy Saturday. Meghan was a little nervous for what would be her first time running downhill on a ski hill. After a few quick tips she didn’t hesitate at all and came off the track and said “I love this track.” Full Story...

Realm Racing on the Gas in Timmins Ontario

Realm Racing on the Gas in Timmins Ontario

Mar 14, 2017

The snow dump in Timmins, Ontario was the site for CSRA Rounds 7 and 8. There’s never a shortage of snow for the races in this northern community. Held during snowmobile week it’s always one of the highlights of the week. Although the weather was a frosty -37°C in the morning at least the sun was shining and the lack of wind made it bearable. The temperatures quickly rose to – 8°C with conditions ideal for racing our Polaris snowmobiles. Both our riders minor injuries had healed and they looked forward to racing this event. Bailey Riders on the Top of the Podium 6 times in Timmins

Mar 10, 2017

After weeks of record breaking mild temperatures, we arrived in Timmins for the Eclipse Financial Snowcross Pro Challenge. We woke up to a -35 degree day on Saturday, thankfully the sun was out and temps steadily rose to -14 by mid-afternoon. This is always a great event, promoted in large by former Pro Woman Champ Angela Vacchino. The CSRA crew had their hands full turning the city snow dump into a Snowcross track for the racers. In the end we had an awesome track, tight enough that the crowd could see the entire race but challenging enough to keep the racing intense.   Full...

Realm Racing visits Georgian Downs, Innisfil Ontario

Mar 1, 2017

Georgian Downs in Innisfil, Ontario was the site for CSRA Rounds 5 and 6. It’s a great venue that allows fans the opportunity to watch either inside behind the glass staying comfy and warm, or venture out into the cold to battle the elements and smell the exhaust fumes as sleds pass by. This past weekend’s unseasonably warm temperatures, sunshine and blue skies were a welcomed treat except for the deteriorating snow conditions. With daytime highs of 8°C the CSRA had to work hard to keep the track in decent shape. Both our riders sustained minor injuries, Meghan wore her bars in the chest knocking the wind out of her, and Lindsey landed hard twisting her ankle while riding under some rough track conditions. The girls continued to push through the minor inconveniences and finish all of their races this weekend. Saturday’s racing during the first heat of Junior Girls had Meghan fighting hard for a top 5 spot for the entire race and narrowly missing it finishing up 6th while Lindsey followed up close behind in 7th.   Full...
