Team Rockstar Energy/Polaris Racing/Piller’s presented by Huber Motorsports and OTSFF’s RJ Roy proved to be the top CSRA driver in the Pro Lite class at the 35th edition of the Grand Prix de Valcourt. Roy battled hard all weekend aboard his potent Polaris 600R to claim that honour in a field of elite drivers from the CSRA, ECS, SCMX and ISOC organizations, which makes the Grand Prix de Valcourt Canada’s premier snowcross vent. The team is back from 3 days of intense racing the Grand Prix du Valcourt, home of BRP Ski Doo and one of the most famous snowmobiling events in the world. Over the course of the three days, race fans would get to enjoy several forms of snowmobile racing, everything from Drags, Ice Ovals, and of course, Snowcross. We always love going to this event, seeing thousands of race fans get so into the sport we love so much. All of Ski Doo’s Factory Super Teams were there, so was a prototype 2018 Snowcross race sled, being tuned and tested all weekend in the Pro Open Class, piloted by the veteran, Dany Poirier. Crapo and Roy dominate Can-Am Cup in Sault Ste. Marie

Colby Crapo and RJ Roy put team Rockstar Energy/Polaris Racing/Piller’s presented by Huber Motorsports and OTSFF in the winner’s circle at Round 2 of the CSRA Snowcross Championships in Sault Ste. Marie this past weekend. Crapo swept the Pro Open mains while Roy delivered the same results in Pro Lite. Overcast skies, frigid temperatures that didn’t get above -6°C, and a track blanketed with tons of Northern Ontario snow made for really tough and demanding racing both days. In his heat races, Crapo went 1-2 on Saturday and blitzed his way to 1-1 finishes on Sunday. The Yard Events Center in Sault Ste Marie was the second stop on the CSRA circuit this year. The bridge to the USA was the backdrop for the Highland Ford Can-Am Cup on February 4th & 5th. With this being the first visit to this venue the CSRA managed to put together an event that wouldn’t disappoint. Round 3&4 of the Canadian Snowcross Racing Association season was held on January 4th and 5th. The Highland Ford CAN-AM National was held at The Yard in Sault Ste. Marie, ON and presented by: Rivercity Motorsports, Northern Superior Brewing Co. and Northshore Sports. Races started at noon on Saturday with the Pro main events beginning at 7:00pm under the lights.
